I still can't figure out what the illustration is meant to represent. And 3rd Pasta Lane? Whatever it is, I love it. (India. 10/07)

I just experienced your blog for the first time. I very much enjoy the randomness and lack of follow through, I agree it is so much easier to just say "more to come."

That's almost coherent English.
You see some choice signboards .. snack shops that deal in snakes, beer shops that deal in bear cubs .. I think Indians continue to take revenge on the British for their colonial oppression by murdering English language on a daily basis

Just read your story, it gives me hope. every day i'm shocked she said yes and i wonder what would happen if she left. This shows a positive from something i could only see in a negitive way, keep it up.

The spitting sign looks like it's telling people not so spit on those sleeping on park benches.

I think the no spitting sign is an illustration of a clam spitting. They really spit! google it. hehe. I love your pictures, and with I could travel as much as you!

Though we Indians take our criticism in our stride, too much of it leaves a bad taste in the mouth (no pun intended!) English was never our mother tongue and it still is not. And still if you ask any school going child in India he/she would atleast know three languages! Three.. can you believe, three! I don't know why west still looks at India as snake charmers, turban wearers, uncouth.... and what not?
But yes, all said and done, your blog is nice!

The spitting sign looks like curb with a "no" slash in the middle. The diagonal line is the trajectory of the offending saliva!
I think the no spitting sign is indicating either no spitting at Pac-Man or no spitting into baby carriages.
I could be wrong, though. I've never been to India.
